The DSA’s call to defund and abolish the police and prisons, dismantle the gang database, and legalize prostitution is reckless, anti-safety, and anti-community. Black families in New York deserve reform and respect, not lawlessness and chaos.
The DSA’s push to decriminalize hard drugs is a direct threat to community health and safety. Addiction should be treated, but not excused, encouraged, or normalized.
The DSA’s call to put an “end to charter schools” threatens to force 130,000 black and brown children back into failing schools. Our kids deserve options, not defunding and eviction.
